Web sites are often the last priority for busy organizations and companies. Why? There is no deadline. The site is already up (even if it has old information on it). And, oh yeah, there's no deadline. It's easy to push it off this week's urgent to-do list and do it "when I have more time."
But your Web presence is critical in the age of instant information gratification. If your Web site is difficult to navigate, doesn't provide quality information, is outdated or is visually unpleasant, those who do seek you out on the Web will likely never get past that initial impression. They probably won't call, much less use your services or products. They might not give you a second chance.
If it's an overwhelming task and you have better things to do, find me. I'm happy to help, even if it's just keeping your information up to date or organizing it so it's easily navigable.
When it comes to Web sites, I am most likely to be helpful to organizations who already have a Web presence but need some assistance writing, refreshing, organizing or managing the site's content. While I'm able to provide design services for relatively simple sites, due to the time involved and the technical knowledge that a full-service Web site designer can provide, it might make more sense for you to seek the support of a full-time Web designer. The technology field changes on a daily basis, and someone who is constantly focused on Web sites may be a better source for you. Give me a call. I can refer you to someone great.

Client: Trinity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis
Details: Trinity hired me to do regular updates to its Web site twice a week for about a year and a half, ending October 2008. (At that time, it discontinued relationships with all communications and other "unnecessary" vendors in an order to make drastic cuts in budget. As a result, note that the site is no longer under my management.)
